Has anybody heard of this Poker Academy Pro 2.0 hand simulation software? Supposedly, it has some artificial intelligence that makes it better than straight-up mathematical hand simulators. Being a statistics geek, it is intriguing me. I'm looking for some feedback on it...

I am familiar with and own the latter, and can highly recommend it. Depends of course what it is that you want from the package. Most people use it as a learning tool for limit and no limit HE, while some use it for research into hand strengths, strategies etc.- vegaas said...
Thursday, December 29, 2005 6:55:00 PMYes. It is a very cool program. The bots are all set up to emulate different types of players. The Poki engine is supposed to be a very advanced AI engine. It also allows you to set up tourneys based on how various internet sites set up theirs. Great learning tool.- Kent said...
Monday, January 02, 2006 2:29:00 PMI messed around with it a bit and liked it. You can download a 30 day demo from their website. Unfortunately, the demo deals the same 100 hands over and over, but you should get a feel for the program.
