Got home from work tonight in time to catch the final table of the WPBT tourney on PokerStars. Good times - wish I coulda played! Congrats to on_thg. Took home a nice little purse. (Much like that purple teletubby - what was his name??)

Mon-Thurs is such a beat-down at work lately that I've only been playing poker Fri thru Sun, but I did manage to get through reading (or at least skimming) 102 new blog posts in my blogroll tonight. I've been thinking about something else lately -

Anyone have any advice or good links to how to build a poker table? I had bought some crappy directions off eBay a while back, and while they did give me the general idea, they sucked and I never did start the project. I don't want to build anything super fancy - just a nice oval table, 8 or 10 man, padded edges with cupholders. That sorta thing. And felt. Wonderful glorious FELT! Felt goooooood. Meat? Goooood. Jam? Gooooooood. Felt? GOOOOOOOOD.

    Winky Tubby?

Badblood built his own table, so you might want to check his archives. I think he has links to instructions...

    Hi Shelly,

I built my own table this past April and documented it in my blog:

'Tis Tinky Winky. He was accused of being gay by the moral right, and had to move back to his home planet. The other guys were: La La (Yellow), Po (Red) and Dipsy(Green). Man I have been married too long.

Has some good links and instructions. The rail is the most complicated thing to visualize and build.
